Hi everyone, my name is Wen Xue but I go by Kamy. I am a student at Toronto Metropolitan University studying Graphic Communications Management. I wish to thank all the donors for their generosity and continued support towards us students.
A little about me:
I’ve always loved and appreciated special packaging types, feeling the different textures and seeing the colour changes. I think the fact that print moves and continues to adapt to the ever-changing technological advancements is fascinating to witness and learn about. I enjoy learning and experiencing all the new changes in our industry.
I’m grateful to be attending TMU because of its central campus, I’m more of a city person myself and having everything accessible is very nice when I’m studying and in need of a quick snack. TMU being a commuting school brings a challenge in connecting with people, making those connections even more precious. Lastly, GCM, I learnt of this program through an alumni who also happened to be my high school graphic design and business teacher. I always had a problem picking between the two, it felt like I couldn’t live only doing one instead of the other. GCM is both the arts and the business to me, I really appreciate that, it felt like I found somewhere I could belong.
Once again, thank you to the gracious donors for believing in us.
