Student Focus: Sasha Au Yong

“Hi everyone! My name is Sasha Au Yong and I’m a student from Toronto Metropolitan University studying Graphic Communications Management.

The thing that attracted me to the printing industry is how versatile it can be. Being a sort of “hidden industry,” I believe that there is much opportunity for me to pursue my passions and make a difference.

I have only been in my program for a little over a month but have never felt more welcome than ever by the community of people with similar interests. I feel that the professors in my program genuinely care about our success in the industry and that has made me want to learn more.

I would like to give a huge thanks to the people supporting the Canadian Printing Industries Scholarship. With it, I am able to focus more of my time learning and strengthening skills needed for my program and the industry.”
