Samantha Stante is a scholarship student in the Graphic Communications Management program at Ryerson University (Class of 2020).
“Currently, I am a third-year student at Ryerson University, working towards obtaining a Bachelor of Technology with a Major in Graphic Communications Management, Minor in Communication and Design, and Concentration in Publishing. I am a dedicated student who is fascinated by graphic design and the visual communication that comes with it; sending a clear message through visuals is a main focus of mine. Passionate about management and leadership, I am always willing to work creatively and professionally throughout all projects.
The Canadian Printing Industries Scholarship Trust Fund has helped me excel in my academics by providing me with additional funding for textbooks, industry events and conferences, and school supplies. The CPISTF scholarship has also kept me motivated throughout the past three years and has given me a goal to set for myself throughout my education. Having something to work for ensures that every project I hand in is the best of my ability and enables me to always put my best foot forward. Each year this award gives me the opportunity to connect with professionals in the Graphic Communications Industry and allows me to meet with potential future employers. When I see that a company has supported the CPISTF, it gives me motivation to want to work hard for that specific organization, since they have supported me and my classmates throughout our academic career.”
The mission of the Canadian Printing Industries Scholarship Trust Fund is to attract the brightest and best students available to the graphic communications industry by providing financial assistance to enroll and continue in a post-secondary management or technical program at an approved institution.
