Student Focus: Michaela Kwan
Hello! My name is Michaela Kwan (she/her) and I am a Graphic Communications Management student at Toronto Metropolitan University.
I would like to first send my utmost appreciation to all the donors for their support to the Canadian Print Scholarship. Throughout my studies in graphic communications, having that financial support has allowed me to focus more on learning about this exciting industry.
Up until grade 12, I had never even heard of graphics communications until I took a course on it, and ever since then, I’ve been fascinated by the ins and outs of the industry. I’ve always been interested in the packaging and print industry and loved seeing a pretty design on the shelves. However, learning more about the industry and the effort that goes behind each product makes me appreciate it even more.
Thank you again to all the donors to the Canadian Print Scholarship, I am truly grateful for all the help. Your generosity has made it possible for me to pursue my aspirations at Toronto Metropolitan University and I am excited to be a part of this growing industry.
