Student Focus: Maya Navarro

“My name is Maya Navarro and I am a fourth year student in the Graphic Communications Management (GCM) program at Toronto Metropolitan University. In the next few months, I will be completing my Bachelor of Technology with a concentration in Digital Graphic Output and a minor in Communication Design. It is through the GCM program that I have had the opportunity to gain such valuable professional and technical skills, and I am forever grateful for all the relationships I have formed throughout this journey.

For the past four years, I have been fortunate to have been a recipient of the Canadian Printing Industries Scholarship Trust Fund. Because of the generosity from Canadian Print Scholarships, I have been able to focus primarily on my studies and not the financial pressures often attached to the university experience.
