Celebrating Jyoti’s Journey
Currently in her final year of the Graphic Communications Management program at Toronto Metropolitan University, Jyoti brings a wealth of experience as an innovative designer and entrepreneur. Her rjourney includes founding JDDESIGNS, a thriving freelance studio focused on uniting design with activism. Jyoti has collaborated with over 25 clients, building brand identities and impactful design systems that prioritize positive social change. Her academic pursuits have taken her from Toronto to Seoul, where a semester abroad at Sungkyunkwan University broadened her global perspective and enriched her creative outlook.
Beyond her own studies, Jyoti is deeply involved in supporting others. She serves as a Teaching Assistant for design courses, mentors first-year students, and has been recognized for her community engagement as a former TDSB Student Trustee. Jyoti’s commitment to the printing sector is reflected in her work with organizations like SpruceLab Inc., Epiloid Biotechnology, and numerous community initiatives, all while growing her own graphic design business and preparing to launch Spiced Chai, a bottled chai venture inspired by family traditions.

Hey! My name is Jyoti Dadhich and I’m in my second year of the Graphic Communications Management program at Toronto Metropolitan University. I am grateful to have received the CPISTF scholarship and would like to thank the donors that made it possible. I am excited to network, learn and develop as a designer throughout the program while growing my graphic design business @jyotiddesigns.
