“Hello! My name is Eileen Lin, and I’m in Graphic Communications Management at Ryerson University. I’d like to thank the donors of the Canadian Printing Industries Scholarship Trust fund for supporting myself and many other students through our journeys in learning about graphic arts and the print industry.
I chose GCM because I was unsure about what to do in university, but when I went to the open house here, I liked the teachers, the atmosphere, and most everything about the building.
I’m enjoying this program because my first few years of university were bound to happen in a pandemic, yet everyone has been welcoming and prepared to face many of the challenges of distance learning. I have courses that develop my skills in art and design, and those that teach me completely new things and encourage involvement in the industry, both of which are very important to me.
I decided a while ago that I wanted to learn more at university and will be pursuing another degree after this because I’ve always been enthusiastic about learning more, but currently, I’m enjoying this program and my time at university and looking forward to getting experience in the industry.”
