Scholarships awarded to 68 students at 5 schools
Canadian Print Scholarships is pleased to announce that 68 new and returning students at 5 schools have been selected to receive national scholarships for the 2019/2020 academic year valued at $1,500. These students met the minimum academic requirements necessary to qualify for the awards in either their first or subsequent years in one of our approved university or college programs.
Students at British Columbia Institute of Technology, Manitoba Institute of Trades and Technology, Nova Scotia Community College, Ryerson University and Southern Alberta Institute of Technology will benefit from this support as they pursue studies in Graphic Communications.
“We’re excited about the success of this first year of a pilot program designed to attract young people to the graphic communications industry. This is the most scholarships awarded in a year!” mentioned Jeff Ekstein, Chair of Canadian Print Scholarships.
“Canadian Print Scholarships is supported by a number of leading organizations in the industry through regular donations to the Fund. Their leadership is truly making a difference. We encourage all graphics communications companies to consider adding their support. Donations can be made on our website at printscholarships.ca.” said Ken Freek, Executive Director of Outreach and Partner Relations.
The mission of the Canadian Printing Industries Scholarship Trust Fund is to attract the brightest and best students available to the graphic communications industry by providing financial assistance to enroll and continue in a post-secondary management or technical program at an approved institution.
