Recently, one of our donors, Connecting For Results Inc. partnered with Ryerson University and the Graphic Communications Management program to develop an exciting mentoring program for 3rd and 4th year students.
The mentorship initiative, know as Print Wisdom, provides students the opportunity to meet experts in the graphic communications field. This connection helps students to shape their career and assist them by making industry contacts and identifying resources, guidance, and motivation.
For industry professionals, the program is an opportunity to give back and provide guidance and advice. It can lead to:
Personal growth
Professional development
Connecting with a younger generation of printers
Getting an inside look at emerging talent
A rewarding experience
The role of mentor is a volunteer position with recommended contact of twice per month for a 4-month mentorship session.
Training is provided. For more information sign up at ryerson.peoplegrove.com.
Like supporting Canadian Print Scholarships, the Print Wisdom program provides an opportunity to give back to our industry.
Consider becoming a mentor!
The mission of the Canadian Printing Industries Scholarship Trust Fund is to attract the brightest and best students available to the graphic communications industry by providing financial assistance to enroll and continue in a post-secondary management or technical program at an approved institution.
