Shift Supervisor

Qualifications include:

·       Minimum of 3 years of experience in chemical manufacturing preferred

·       Knowledge of the H&S legislation – ensure safe operation of all duties

·       Proficient computer skills, MS Office and SAP

·       Strong interpersonal, time management, decision making and communication skills

·       Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business procedures. 

·       Post-secondary education or equivalent experience preferred

Responsibilities include:

·       Manage 15-20 direct reports

·       Liaise with MRP’s, In-Plant Technicians as well as other personnel

·       Supervise Production Staff – performance reviews – disciplinary action – day to day issues

·       Quality Control, manage Quality for batch consistency and Corking of completed Batches

·       Scheduling manufacturing in accordance with customer requirements

·       Production Scheduling and Expediting – Batches and Orders

·       Work off Dormant and Slow moving materials.

·       Review Production batch tickets.

·       Manage expense controls in line with AOP targets

·       Identify & participate in productivity improvements

·       Material handling exposure

·       Flexibility to work on a 3 shift rotation

·       Mechanical aptitude a plus
