Production Operator

Duties & Responsibilities:

·       Follow a recipe to accurately load powders, resins, solvents and other materials into mixers

·       Operate mixers and mills used to manufacture printing ink following detailed SOP’s

·       Effective written and oral communication skills, and basic computer knowledge

·       Lifting, loading and stacking of pails up to 20 kgs onto pallets

·       Ensuring compliance with all Health and Safety regulations

·       General knowledge of WHMIS

·       Adhering to all policies and procedures including ISO and GMP

·       Forklift license an asset

·       Other duties as required

 

Required Skills & Qualifications:

·       Able to safely and repeatedly, pull and carry heavy items

·       Must be able to work quickly on a consistent basis through-out the shift

·       Must be energetic, self-motivated and have the ability to work with minimal supervision

·       Must demonstrate a proven record of consistent on-time attendance

·       Previous manufacturing experience in a similar environment is an asset

·       Attention to detail

·       A high school diploma is preferred

 

Shifts Rotation: *Must be willing to work all shifts*

·       Monday to Friday 3 shift rotation

·       Days : 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Afternoons: 3:00 pm to                         11:30pm, Nights: 11:00 pm to 7:30 am
