Our customer, a dynamic, growth-oriented Large Format Digital Printer located in Burlington, is seeking a new team member to join their team.

As Shipping Coordinator, you will be a key part of our production team, which produce Large Format Graphics for Retail, Out of Home, and other applications. Experience is preferred but not necessary, as long as you are flexible, willing to learn, and mechanically inclined.

Your responsibilities will include:

Review customer-supplied distributions and re-format to print labels
Upload shipments into shipping systems (UPS / Fedex etc)
Determine freight costs for quoting and billing purposes by using box dimensions and/or weight.
Schedule outbound couriers, freight, same-day, and pickups.
Coordinate local deliveries using company trucks
Enter planned and final freight shipments and actual costs into our MIS (Pace)
Daily, retrieve tracking information and “proof of delivery”. Upload to a shared document for CSR’s and Sales.
Weekly, review and validate invoices from shipping vendors
Maintain accurate records.
When requested, assist the team in preparing packages for delivery by prepping contents, attaching shipping labels and confirming that all labels, manifests, and invoices reflect the correct information
Collaborate with team members to find solutions to issues when issues arise
Maintain an inventory of packaging products including labels, boxes, envelopes, bubble wrap and packing tape
Contributing to working in a safe manner and clean environment.
Assist with various other team duties as required.

Qualifications

Good mechanical, and technological aptitude.
Experience in the print industry is an asset but not required.
Capable of lifting up to 50lbs.
Able to stand, walk, lift, and bend for extended periods of time.
Must be a team player who is curious and eager to grow.

Compensation

Burlington
Permanent, full-time
$17-$22/hour commensurate with experience
