We are launching a new packaging subsidiary and looking for someone who is energetic and passionate about sales to disrupt the packaging industry. Just like how our company SinaLite has grown exponentially over the past 20 years to achieve a yearly sales revenue of 40+ million, we are looking for a Sales Manager to disrupt the packaging industry. SUMMARY OF POSITION

The Sales Manager creates, implements & executes regional sales strategy.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identify hiring needs, select, train new salespeople, communicate job expectations, performance reviews and enforcing policies and procedures
  • Prepare and review the annual budget for the area of responsibility; Establishes sales objectives by creating a sales plan and quota for the team in support of Regional objectives.
  • Report on regional sales results
  • Forecast quarterly and annual sales and profits
  • Analyze regional market trends and discover new opportunities for growth
  • Address potential problems and suggest prompt solutions
  • Ensure KPIs are being met on a weekly & monthly basis in order to meet or exceed Regional Sales Team objectives
  • Participate in decisions for expansion or acquisition
  • Collaborate on annual sales budgets o ensure budgets are met or exceeded
  • Focus on core our value proposition. Coach team on overcoming price pressure
  • Coach, mentor sales executives into successful team players – customer facing as well as internally facing
  • Focus sales executives on weekly performance metrics and manage the sales playbook: ensure they know the data, where to access data and how they are being measured
  • Conduct monthly, joint-customer visits. Minimum of 1 day per month per sales executive (client visits)
  • Ensure sales process is followed through Salesforce, evolve Salesforce & selling processes in order to achieve the highest level of visibility into sales executive daily-weekly-monthly functionality
  • Suggest new services/products and innovative sales techniques to increase customer satisfaction

FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility
  • Team Building Involvement with Operations and Sales
  • Actively manage and enforce company policy
  • Contribute regional sales information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews
  • Prepare and complete action plans; resolve problems; determining regional sales system improvements; implementing change.

Requirements

JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Proven work experience as a Sales Representative, Manager or similar senior sales role
  • Ability to measure and analyze key performance indicators (ROI, KPI’s)
  • Familiarity with CRM software (preferably SF.com)
  • Ability to lead and motivate a high-performance sales team
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Presentation skills required
  • Relationship building and Team Player
  • Strong organizational skills with a problem-solving attitude

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s degree required (Sales, Business Development or related field)
  • 10+ years of related experience in Sales and Managing, Leading Teams
  • Flexible Packaging sales experience preferred
  • Basic accounting skills required and fluency in Excel
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Superior motivational and communication skills
  • Ability to read, generate reports and market analyses

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Travel required, up to 50%
