Our client based in Oshawa Ontario, is a high-quality commercial printing company serving the Canadian and US markets, providing design, print, and finishing services. The company leverages its digital and offset technologies as well as its wide range of in-house finishing capabilities.
They are currently looking for a motivated Customer Services Representative to join the CSR team, reporting to the Director of Operations.
Customer Service Representative – Summary
This is a full-time, advanced Customer Service Representative position coordinating all aspects of client projects, from estimating to prepress, printing, finishing, shipping, and billing. The CSR plays an active role with clients and prospects and supports the sales team. The CSR ensures that job specifications are well documented and coordinates the projects with the production teams, ensuring projects are delivered on time and on specification. This position will also take the lead role in coordinating all aspects of an annual project.
Duties and Responsibilities
Coordinates client projects with the estimating and sales departments
Communicates with customers on print and finishing job specifications
Prepares job tickets in coordination with operations
Assists the pre-press department in determining the correct specifications
Coordinates with third-party vendors and subcontractors when outsourcing is required
Resolves any emerging problems clients might face with accuracy and efficiency
Tracks the jobs from start to finish. including shipping and billing
Serves as a backup to the other CSR team members
Project Manage the yearly project incl.:
Acts as the main liaison with the sales organization
Coordinates all third-party component procurements
Manages part-time staffing during peak period
Works closely with the Operations Team to deliver on schedule
Qualifications
A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role in the printing industry
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
Analytical and detailed oriented mind
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, dead-line-driven environment
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Excellent communication skills, working with clients, sales, operations, shipping, and admin
Excellent team player
Proficient with Microsoft Office, with main emphasis on Excel
In-depth knowledge of prepress, digital and offset printing, and finishing
