Bindery Cutter Operator

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Coordinate with Production Team and Bindery Supervisor to produce and prioritize jobs and, when necessary, reorganize to meet deadline changes and updates.
• Perform cutting-related functions as noted on work order/job tickets.
• Process handwork assembly according to specifications.
• Package jobs, complete work orders, tickets, and delivery receipts as necessary and placed in their assigned areas.
• Operate machine to produce orders.
• Troubleshoot any issues that may arise.
• Notify Production Supervisor or Customer Service Rep of any quality and/or quantity conflict.
• Monitor and manage inventory of bindery supplies; order and stock as instructed by the supervisor.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Experience working in Bindery is preferred.
• High school diploma/GED with experience or vocational/technical certification.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Good mathematical skills.
• Able to apply written instructions to machine set-up and maintenance.
• Reliable attendance, punctuality and attention to work station.
