Celebrating Outstanding Student Achievement
Canadian Print Scholarships is proud to announce that Sheilae Siangian has been awarded the 2024/2025 Warren Wilkins Memorial Scholarship. This prestigious award honours the legacy of Warren Wilkins by recognizing a student who demonstrates academic excellence, community involvement, and a strong commitment to a future in the printing industry.
Sheilae is a Graphic Communications Management student at Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU) and an emerging leader in the print and graphic communications sector. Her enthusiasm for the industry was on full display earlier this year when she volunteered at Graphics Canada, representing Canadian Print Scholarships with professionalism and pride.
“Thank you so much for this amazing opportunity to be able to receive this scholarship,” said Sheilae. “I had an amazing time volunteering with you at Graphics Canada and being able to represent Canadian Print Scholarships!”
A Passion for Print and Community Impact
In addition to her academic achievements, Sheilae brings real-world experience through multiple roles. She is currently a Research Assistant at TMU and a Marketing Associate with the Lab of Excellence in Digital Asset Management (LED). She’s also contributed as a Creative Associate for the GCM Colloquium and as a Marketing Associate for TMUTAGA, TMU’s Graphic Arts student group. Through each of these positions, Sheilae has demonstrated a keen interest in design, branding, and digital communication—skills that are highly relevant to the future of the print industry.
Beyond campus, Sheilae contributes to her community through the Dynamic Youth organization, where she supports creative media initiatives. Her dedication to service has also been recognized with several awards, including the Lieutenant Governor’s Community Volunteer Award and the A.B. Patterson Memorial Award.
Investing in Future Leaders
The Warren Wilkins Memorial Scholarship is one of the top awards supported by Canadian Print Scholarships and the Canadian printing industry. It is intended to celebrate and support a student with both high academic standing and demonstrated industry potential. Sheilae exemplifies these values and more.
We congratulate Sheilae on this well-deserved recognition and look forward to watching her continue to thrive in her studies and future career. Her energy, creativity, and passion make her a standout in the next generation of print professionals.
